The first of quite a bunch of fox shrines I should find in Nagano. In fact, today alone I should find more fox shrines than in the whole last month combined. This one is a side shrine of Nanase Kannonji (七瀬観音寺 "Seven Rapids Kannon Temple"). Inside, there are at least 7 tiny porcelain foxes, one tiny black stone fox, and two porcelain foxes that are a little larger, but still small.
