72 ~ Hanjou Inarisha

Japanese Name:  綮昌稲荷社
Romanized Reading: Hanjou Inarisha
English Translation: Prosperity Inari Shrine
Size: Small Side Shrine (of Dairokuten Sasakaki Jinja)
Deity: Inari
Fox Count: 4
First Visit: 7-Apr-2018
Location: Tokyo-Taito
Address: 1 Chome-4-3 Kuramae, Taitō-ku, Tōkyō-to 111-0051

A small side shrine of Dairokuten Sakaki Jinja (第六天榊神社 "Sixth Heaven Sakaki Tree Shrine"), which is a bit unusual since it features a pair of foxes inside, both of which have a kit by their side, so I am a bit unsure about how to interpret that. Are they both supposed to be vixens? Or is one male after all? It's hard to say, but for the purposes of the vixen side count I am going to count them both as vixen, thus bringing the count to 4:14. After all, I also found some shrines with two explicitly male Komainu guardians, so why shouldn't there be a shrine with two vixens in turn?
