The first of several fox shrines that I should find on a cycling tour through the suburbs east of Fukuoka. This one is located in the town of Hisayama (久山 "Long Time Mountain"), and more specifically on the parking lot of a gardening center! Two slightly smaller-than-life stone foxes sit guard in front, and another two tiny porcelain foxes can be found next to the alter within. There's notably a lot of offerings in here, including eggs, and orange, sake, beer and tea among others.
 

255 ~ Ishidaka Inari Jinja

Both the last foxy side shrine of Ishiana Inari Jinja, as well as the final fox shrine I should find in Dazaifu. This tiny stone shrine features four tiny porcelain foxes, as well as a tiny Komainu, which is unusual because dogs and foxes generally don't get along well.
 

254 ~ Momowaka Inari Ookami

The second foxy side shrine of Ishiana Inari Jinja. This one is located a good bit int the woods at the end of a series of red Torii. There's two pairs of life-sized stone foxes, two of which have little baskets in front which may or may not be for offerings (or maybe they sometimes sell charms). Another five tiny porcelain foxes sit right in front of the tiny stone shrine.

The first foxy side shrine of Ishiana Inari Jinja. This one features four small stone foxes, along with one tiny stone fox watching over the altar. Despite it not being in the name, the Inari emblems on the purple cloth above the shrine mark this as an Inari shrine.
