396 ~ Cut-Off Name Shrine

Japanese Name: ?忠大神

English Translation: ? Loyalty Great Deity
Size: Tiny side shrine of Kobogataki within Fushimi Inari Taisha
Deity: ?
Fox Count: 2
First Visit: 25-Dec-2018
Location: Kyoto-Fushimi
Address: 27 Fukakusa Sasayamachō, Fushimi Ward, Kyoto, 612-0811
Coordinates
: 34.9655, 135.7810

The 36th vulpine side shrine of Fushimi Inari Taisha, the 29th within the Kobogataki supercluster, and the fifth in the latter's eastern area. As usual, this one also features a pair of life-sized stone foxes, with the left one holding a scroll, and the right one an orb.

Unfortunately, I managed to cut off the top Kanji on the Iwakura, so I can't say how this one is called. At this point, I am in rapid-fire mode: There's still so many fox shrines to cover, and I still want to get all around Inariyama today. However, I have only covered roughly 25% of my planned round, and I still need to say a little prayer at ever shrine. Plus my camera is slowly but surely running out of both charge and space on the memory card. I knew this place was the origin of Inari faith, but even so, I never expected there to be THIS many fox shrines around. Not that I'm complaining, mind you, but properly cataloguing all of these would probably take months.
