Japanese Name: 三徳稲荷神社
Romanized Reading: Santoku Inari Jinja
English Translation: Three Virtues Inari Shrine
Size: Medium
Deity: Inari
Fox Count: 4
First Visit: 2-Feb-2019
Location: Tokyo-Oota
Address: 〒144-0034 Tōkyō-to, Ōta-ku, Nishikōjiya, 3 Chome−29−2
Coordinates: 35.55329,139.73586This is it! The 600th fox shrine I visited in Japan! I've done it!
And as if to celebrate, there's a Matsuri going on! I only catch the tail end of it, and yet I still get a gift bag! Those are normally reserved for kids, but the locals are so excited to see a foreigner wearing fox tails join them that they almost force one on me. I wonder if they thought I was a fox in disguise? =^,^=
Anyway, there's two pairs of life-sized stone foxes here: One sitting outside in cages, and another sitting inside.
