A fox shrine that I should find while on a shopping trip to Morioka with my host, during the weeks I spent helping out in a pension in the mountains of Touhoku. This one is a side shrine of the eponymous and tautological Oomiya Jinja (大宮神社 "Great Shrine Shrine") and features at least four life-sized stone foxes. At least because the shrine itself is currently undergoing renovations, so there might be more foxes inside. Also I wonder what it actually looks like, now that it's finished.
