A tiny side shrine of Ooyamashiro Jinja (大山代神社 "Great Mountain Age Shrine"), which features a lonely little stone fox on one side. Though already kinda weathered, it is still in relatively good shape, and wears a friendly expression. The shrine itself is also made from stone, and without a name or any other indication, the presence of this little fox is the only reason why I suspect it might be an Inari shrine.

Incidentally, this is also the final fox shrine that I should find in the city of Matsue, but there's still plenty more to discover, both on this  day, as well as in the greater Matsue and Daisen area. So better get comfortable, because we'll still be in this area for some time.
