A tiny fox shrine found late on the day of our arrival in Ishinomaki. This one is located in the middle of an empty and overgrown plot in the Matsubaracho (松原町 "Pine Meadow Town") neighborhood. Like everything around, it is pretty new, with a pair of life-sized stone foxes sitting watch in front, and another pair of tiny porcelain foxes inside the tiny stone shrine.
